Please read carefully as they set out our respective rights and obligations. Once you make the reservation of your photo tour, by default you accept these terms and conditions.
Once Rio Photo Tours confirms your booking a contract is made between Rio Photo Tours and you upon the terms and conditions set out below. Rio Photo Tours hereinafter referred to as ‘we’, will only confirm your booking once we have received 50% of the tour payment for date(s) reservation.
Booking
Once 50% of the payment of your photo tour is made you will have a confirmation emailed to you. This is your confirmation of your booking.
Once you begin a photo tour, you accept and abide by these terms and conditions.
We accept no responsibility for incorrect email or inability to deliver email. If your confirmation does not arrive on time or at all, then you must ask us to resend the email confirmation of the photo tours you have paid for.
All internet bookings will be confirmed by email.
We reserve the right to sell any date reserved without 50% of the tour payment or a deposit. It is the responsibility of the clients to check the accuracy of dates booked upon receipt of their travel documents.
The last 50% of the photo tour should be paid by the client until 3 days before the tour date via Paypal or Wetravel email provided by Rio Photo Tours.
Cancellation & Refunds
Cancellation of your booking must be in writing or by email to riophototours@gmail.com.
In certain cases you may be eligible to receive a full or partial refund depending upon:
• the number days of prior to the start of the tour your cancellation request is received or
• the amount expended by the individual guide to prepare for your tour including third party services
Rio Photo Tours is not responsible for any incidental expenses You may have incurred as a result of the purchase of your tour such as visas, vaccinations, non-refundable flights or loss of enjoyment, etc.

Your tour is fully refundable up till we send you an email with your customized tour plan. After we send your photo tour plan the booking is 25% refundable if you cancel till 45 days before the tour date. (This fee is required to recoup our losses from holding the date for your reservation, including transportation (in some cases) and the work of the professional to plan and build your customized tour plan).
Tours canceled less than 45 days before the tour is non-refundable.
You can choose to change your tour departure to another date (subject to availability).
If the reason for your cancellation is covered under your insurance policy, you may be able to make a claim under that policy.
Any refund which has been agreed with the management of Rio Photo Tours can only be refunded by bank transfer, Paypal, or wetransfer it cannot be carried out using a credit card.
Refunds may only be made to the bank account of the person to be refunded or via Paypal or Wetravel. This cannot be done by credit card and the onus is on the person to be refunded to provide bank account details, IBAN and swift code with email proof on any overcharge.
All taxes for a refund the client will be deducted from the amount to be refunded.
Changes by us
We reserve the right to change our typical itineraries at any time and at our discretion. As professionals, we will endeavor to avoid this and if this is necessary, we will substitute alternative arrangements of comparable monetary value and closest experience.
Once your booking has been confirmed we will make every effort to provide you with the booked arrangements but reserve the right to alter or cancel the whole or part of the tour in the event of happenings outside the control of Rio Photo Tours. Reasons for doing so may include but shall not be limited to such force majeure matters as extreme adverse local weather conditions or weather warnings, natural disasters, civil strikes, war or conflict, terrorist activity, fire, flood conditions and similar. No compensation will be paid for force majeure cancellations.
We reserve the right to decrease the price of our tours at any time.
Insurance
There is no travel insurance cover included in the price of the ticket.
We take no responsibility for any injuries or loss to you incurred whilst you are taking part in any optional activities that are outside our all-inclusive package. We strongly recommend that you take out comprehensive insurance cover for cancellation, medical expenses, personal accident, personal baggage, your photography gear, money, and public liability before you travel. We accept no responsibility for the theft, loss or damage to personal belongings from at any time during the duration of your photo tour.
